The North Sentinel people live on a remote island near India and kill any outsiders who come too close. They have no technology, no contact with the outside world, and no knowledge of the current state of the world or politics. They have made it clear many times they do not want to be disturbed, and the Indian government does everything they can to protect them.

They are a unique living piece of history. They are the last remnants of a people who were cut off from the main stream of human evolution for thousands of years. They live in a spiritualized, natural state, untouched by modern materialism. They are living a kind of paradise. Whether they should adapt... well, that's their destiny. They were isolated for a reason. To force them into the modern world would be to destroy what they are. They are a living museum piece. Their isolation isn't a mistake; it's their purpose.

Yes I’ve heard and it’s a remote island that no one goes to. It’s interesting that they hate to see men but an Indian woman got the chance to talk to them. They usually try to scare people away but she succeeded in interacting with them without anything violent. I think they see modern men as a threat. These settlers might have stayed there and there haven’t been too many interactions with them. I don’t think they should leave because it can give them diseases. An attempt was made by the British but those people who left the island died. I think they hate us, especially modern men.

This is a very difficult question. Once I heard an interview with an aboriginal Brazilian asking whether he would have preferred to remain isolated. He responded (more or less) "We're not animals in a zoo. Do you imagine we wouldn't prefer modern medicine to watching our children die?"
