I know of two people personally that had small businesses here in Canada that have stopped shipping to the USA because of this shift. Their American customers are pissed but its just not worth the hassle and expense to ship to the USA anymore... Americans end up having less choice. .

You are very correct. Its too costly and confusing they say. Both supply a sort of hard to find product ( artwork) so it will be difficult for American consumers to find a replacement. They both are happy to just sell their products in Canada and Europe anyway.

@DrPepper12 No, the post office used to be the only outfit for small packages , Now that there is a lot of competition it muddys the water soemwhat. I had to send something back to the manufacturer and was amazed at the cost difference between carriers. THe post office was a lot less expensive.
