Should flag baby clothes be banned?

According to the news, a supermarket has sold out of England flag baby clothes as parents rush to turn their toddlers into far-right extremists.

But is it right to turn your child into "Nanna's little Nazi" or "The chubby Crusader" by forcing it to wear an English Flag? Sure, he's a skinhead, hasn't got a job, passes out with a bottle in his hand, and cries a lot, just like his dad, but that's no excuse.

We've all seen pictures of flagshaggers at protests and laughed at them, but as adults, that's their choice. I don't think it's right to use a baby to promote your racist views.

Unsurprisingly it's only the English flag (or is it Nordic) that's sold out, as the other nations have more sense.

I don’t think any thing should be banned. Only behavior that is intentionally harmful to others or deliberately disruptive to their lives. Live free, and let those around you do the same. Used to be patriots raised their nation’s flag with pride. Now we’re “far right extremists”? Ell oh ell!

To be fair, the baby will only be wearing it for about a month before it outgrows it.

So it's a case of stupid people are easily parted with their money.

The baby isn't going to care what it's in. But good luck explaining why you have the English flag covered in baby shit...

Far too many people have a distorted and/or juvenile view of what patriotism is or the true obligations of citizenship.

I saw a flag with the Welsh dragon over the centre of the Union Flag that I'd wear but I avoided too much for my son when he was born.

Of course now he's 7 he chooses his own country colours. Unfortunately he cheers for the Springboks now 🙄

Just as well it just every day people raising the flag at the moment Shure there are some far right out there but it was an appalling show in London last week at Tommy's protest where 18 out of the 26 arrested were lefties but the media makes out the number where all right
