But most women in their 30's aren't "childless" out of spite. They want to build a life for themselves and their potential families. Sure, most fail. But they still provide a framework for their friends and families.

Yea, many young people are having protracted adolescences. I saw that 62% of people under 30 are not married. They are waiting later and later to have kids. Some wait too long and have to go through IVF.
