What's your take on Hegseth telling US generals/admirals to prepare for war and also calling out those who are fat?

I don't want to make this be political because this is not about policy.
In a highly publicized way, the Trump Administration summoned over 800 senior military officers from all over the world for a meeting in Quantico, Virginia. Trump and War Secretary Pete Hesgeth were there as well. This was both dangerous and stupid.
If I was an enemy of the United States, a congregation of military leadership like this is an excellent opportunity to attack and deliver a devastating blow.
Anyone with any intelligence regarding defense would know this. To give 3 examples:
1. Each year, during the State of the Union Address, one member of the President's Cabinet is absent from the address so as to maintain the line of succession in case of an emergency such as an attack on the Federal Government leadership in attendance.
2. In the 1967 WW II movie "The Dirty Dozen",
the mission was to infiltrate Nazi-occupied France and assassinate high-ranking German Wehrmacht (military) officers gathering at a fortified French château thereby critically disrupting the German command's ability to counter the upcoming D-Day invasion.
3. In the cold open of the 1967 Star Trek episode "Arena", the Enterprise visits the Federation outpost Cestus III led by Commodore Travers. Travers invites the senior crew down for a dinner party and insists that "top tactical people" attend.
However, this was all a ruse by the Gorns who have destroyed the outpost and likely wanted to kill or capture the Enterprise leaders and tactical officers for a military advantage.
It has to be one the stupidest speeches ever heard by not only lifetime military men, but anyone. I can only imagine what was going through their minds, listening to an alcoholic who portrays himself as some kind of combat warrior, against the Iraqi's, no less.
But let’s be clear: Hegseth was not a front-line leader of combat troops under sustained fire. He did not command an infantry company in protracted combat or lead exhausted soldiers through night patrols and firefights. Taking military advice from Hegseth is like taking golf instruction from an 18 handicap. He's a liar (remember the texting incident that he DENIED every happened?) and a bootlicker.
Besides, who is he preparing to go to war against? US citizens? The majority of the population who want Trump, P-2025 and people like himself gone from government? Is he planning on attacking Canada? Denmark? Greenland? Puerto Rico? Portland, Oregon? He's a disgrace, and every military man at that speech knew it.
It was awesome the way he called out Trump for being fat. I agree the country looks bad when an obese orange blob runs it. What a colossal waste of taxpayer money this was.
Trump turning the military completely against them is exactly what I have been waiting for.

Exactly what would happen in a business that was fat and out of shape and needed turned around. Maybe even he was too kind, but directionally right.
All he said was go back to 1990s standards and move away from the DEI mind pollution and fear.
He's calling out nearly 200,000,000 Yanks, since about two-thirds of American adults are overweight !!!
‘Thats a fact jack!’
It's all good. The world has become a much more dangerous place since Biden took office, and our military needs to be in prime condition and prepared for war.
Some of it is also posturing. The governments of bad players like China, N Korea and Russia need to know the US is ready and able to kick their asses is needed.
Peace through strength is a real thing that the US has not embraced in recent years. I'm very happy to see us moving in that direction again.
The militsry has gotten too soft over the last 4 years. Even the brass need to practice good physical fitness. Pete Hegseth is walking the walk and setting an example for the ret of the armed services.
This was a political rally/ indoctrination / event get ready to use the military to suppress the population and political opponents. This has nothing to do with war with China or Russia. This is the start of the political indoctrination of the military. Loyalty to Trump, like the German military taking an oath to Hitler , not to the country. Next will be political commisars in the military like the old Soviet Union, to make sure the officers are acting in the best interest of Trump.
It is about time they got off their fat asses; all branches, all ranks, should meet a minimum physical shape.
Prepare for what war
HUCK FEGETH !!!
Then I guess he's calling out the President!
Good.
Good job!
