Gold and silver prices are falling, does it seem like the market is optimistic about the economy? What are your thoughts?

Fluctuations start when the price reaches max level otherwise gold isn't really falling.

I think China's attempt to establish new currency with gold parity will fail due lack of real gold. US, UK or Swiss, countries with high gold reserves don't sell their stuff since there is no demand for more fiat money that isn't needed by stagnating economy.
If I was China I would make trade of rare earth materials only possible with that new Chinese currency with gold parity. This would be final deathblow for dollar and would cause heavy diarrhea in Rothschild HQ

Large investors like Warren Buffet have been selling off all year and are sitting on a pile of cash. Right now 65-70% of all stock trades are by individual retail investors which is a precursor to a market correction. Normally, retail investors make up less than 30% of stock trades which is why institutional investors are selling and holding cash or moving money overseas. Trump's plan for a weaker dollar has caused US investors to sell off and invest in the EU and Asia while the dollar is strong. That money will come back after the crash when there are bargains like it did in 2008. Investors don't care about what they hope will happen, they only care about making money and play in the market they see so follow their moves because it looks like it will be a bumpy ride in the short term.

What are you smoking, darlin'? Gold and silver dropped slightly in the last day or two (Oct. 21, 2025) Other than that, they've been on a rampage. They may flatten out and adjust, but it doesn't mean shit in the long run.

There's no way in hell the "market" is optimistic about what's going on right now, especially in the USA. It's the most propped up market you've ever seen, and it's going to correct HARD soon enough. The USA will be lucky if it avoids a serious depression.

Those metals are have been up over 50% in the past year. A little pull back is expected. China and other nations have been loading up on gold. Silver has been underrated as its ratio to gold prices have been way off of historical levels.

So US economy aside, look at some of the underlying reasons there has been a bull run on these metals.

The markets have ups and downs. However business investment has jumped 22% since Trump became President. This is an indictor that businesses are optimistic about the future.
