And--the answer is Poverty Rates. congrats to Roy Ricky and one other person who just voted, the only two with the correct answer. Poverty rates are higher in Africa, India and Brazil. Most people assumed there is no education in Africa. There are plenty of high schools and education is expanding more so, and also many universities. There is a problem with buying uniforms for those who cannot afford them, but there are high schools and beyond.

It can be the area of affection of some illness. It cannot be about deforestation or arid areas because there would be much more countries over 50.

Thanks for MHO. Now I'm thinking about your answer. I guess that the striped area means no data, because it is unimaginable for me a poverty rate without being concerned Siria, Afganistan, Yemen or Nigeria.

That’s possible that there was no information on those countries. But it’s very true for Africa, Yemen is very poor and Afghanistan have suffered immensely in wars. Yemen is extremely poor. Nigeria, although better off than other nations in Africa, is still poor.
