Trump is trying to force the Democrats to capitulate by deliberately making things worse than they have to be. I don't think they will. It's going to come down to who the voters blame for the shutdown. People are now seeing the consequences if the Republican budget passes -- they won't be able to afford health insurance. I don't this is going to end well for the Republicans. More and more Americans have had enough of Trump.

In a couple of weeks the democrats will put an end to it. The Republicans will not negotiate with terrorists and they realize if it goes close to Thanks giving which is the busiest day for air travel they will get a black eye.

The democrats are the only ones voting to keep the government closed. Besides, no normal person is affected by the shutdown anyway as they are still having half of their paycheck stolen from them.
