Killjoy campaigners in the UK are calling for naked bike riding to be made illegal. It comes after a naked cyclist at a charity event was punched by a thug who thought he was a pervert.
Proponents point out it's their god given right and well within British law to bike in the buff but opponents it's just about flashing your tackle at women and kids.
Omg, like, seriously? This has all gone way too far now! Those killjoy campaigners must be stopped! They're even trying to shut down Dwarf Tossing too!
Public displays of nudity in general are illegal anyway, although the reason for this is concerning to say the least. A āthugā punched a naked person riding a bike and it caused these people to call for an end to nudist riding? That makes little to no sense.
I will say, if the organizers of said event had an āisolatedā area and had a proper permit to engage in nudist bike riding then Iād say something can be worked out where all parties benefit. Normal people donāt have to see it or watch it, while participants donāt feel clamped on.
I donāt plan on nudity while riding my bikes, but whatever floats your boat ig. Donāt do it where others might get offended is all.
There is an annual naked bike ride in my city. I don't know what the reason is. Freedom from clothes, I guess. The path is well advertized. IF you don't want to see it, don't go. Pretty harmless. Nobody's standing around flapping their parts like exhibitionists. I'd think it'd be terribly uncomfortable to ride a bike naked for three or four miles. Especially in June when it's scheduled. People do all sorts of odd stuff. Pretty silly. Mean of that biker to act that way. Naked people aren't a threat.
You wouldn't get by with it here in Texas because, well Texas. I think things like this aren't a big deal until you make an issue... act appalled etc. in front of your kiddos. Ya teaching 'em it's wrong when it's really no big deal...
What is surprising are the public nude days in some cities, where it's almost totally men who are naked - and in Cfnm websites there are countless images of innocent-looking clothed girls who seem to enjoy having photos taken of them posing next to a naked guy, especially if he's 'hard' !
Every country and every society has its own culture. Some people have particular moral values and concepts that make them uncomfortable. One of these is nudity. Wearing clothes is also a cultural practice. Riding a bicycle naked should not be considered a culture.
I think it should be illegal as I donāt want the kids seeing his junk. I am however, admittedly, more flexible on women biking naked :)
As for Dwarf Tossing, itās consensual and a confined private space. Donāt take a paying job away from a guy with a smaller list of options. Itās all about compassion of those that have lessā¦ and about selling beer. 😅
Not to fear as most of the men I've seen in the buff on beaches and nudist resort you'd have to lean in real close to see much of anything. Nothing that would alarm children

But yup seriously, I think clothes are made to protect their skin, esp. the sensitive area down there from scratching? Or to prevent having some serious skin problems. So I still think clothes are important while driving, even just it's just a bike.. 😆
It's already stupid. No need to make it illegal. Full body road rash is punishment enough. Like the day a bunch of friends and I went spring skiing in t-shirts and shorts on corn snow. Going down at 60 mph on corn snow is basically like hitting asphalt. The was blood from our knees to our chests. That was a one and done idea.

That's gross. You can be naked in places where it's normal to do so: nude beaches. Everyone will wear the same: nothing. No need to have kids on the street see a guy or girl pedal past in their Adam or Eve suit.
No. No nudity should be illegal. Why is it okay for other animals but not us? Oh! That's right! It's that religion thing we made up and chose to live by! Animals don't have that!

Being naked in public can also be an offense if it is threatening, abusive, or insulting, or if it outrages public decency.
Naked bike riding. Are you crazy? Imagine the road rash if you ever wiped out at speed. Not a chance I'm up for that foolishness. Besides that the twins would get cold out there in the wind.
Well, itās not very safe. And bloody distracting to other drivers. My first accident (and the only one that was legit my fault) was a hot jogger on a sidewalk, and she wasnāt even naked 😳
I think being naked in public is normally ilegal but what I'm wonder is for girls how is riding a bike naked? Isn't that going to stimulate the girls parts?
