POs have the power to search homes, interview associates, family, employers, etc, have children taken away & most importantly threaten & actually remand their charges back to prison.

It seems a RIPE situation for extortion & sexual assault.

Yes. This seems common sense.

No. The justice system is above reproach & staffed by angels.

Actually I take that back. The point to that is to keep from probation officers or parole officers to being wrongfully accused by by female parolees.
