Should Teddy Bears be Banned?

Scientists want to ban Teddy Bears because their cute features teach children that real bears are safe and friendly.

By mapping features such as fur softness and muzzle length of various toy bears and comparing them to real bears they concluded toys don't adequately teach children about the danger of real bears.

So do you agree? Is it time to ban Teddy Bears?

Let them be. Most of us will even see a bear, even though they have a comeback in some regions. Children need body contact, sometimes to a plush bear when their mother never cuddles with them. Children need something to cuddle with.
It doesn't matter if it's a bear, a dog, whale, alien or Chucky.

This is an obvious case of mistaken identity. Scientists do not realize that Teddy Bear is actually an homage to the US President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt, who championed ecology and maintaining nature by establishing the first National Parks in the United States.

I think Disney has done a lot of damage to kids understanding of wildlife, those kids grow up and try to feed Grizzly Bears on a trip through the mountains for example.
