FEMinism has always been about advocating for the interests of FEMales, NOT males. There was a time when that was okay because females were clearly disadvantaged compared to males.

That is no longer the case, and hasn't been for many years. For decades government policy, mainstream media and entertainment have favored females and painted them as victims and males as perpetrators.

Today women represent more than 60% of college students and graduates at every level of higher education. Fathers have been painted as unnecessary. Males commit suicide at 4x the rate of females, and there is an epidemic of middle aged male suicide. Males are withdrawing from society at an alarming rate, and no one can explain why.

But there is literally almost no attention given to those issues. Why? Because society does not care about males like it cares about females, because the ONLY the gender movement given any credibility is FEMinism, which always has and always will advocate for FEMale interests over male interests. It always has and always will spin any gender issue in a way that FEMales are pained as victims of males, and males as priviledged oppressors of FEMales. That will never change as long as FEMinism is the only gender movement given any credibility.

FEMinism doesn't need to change its name; it needs to be eradicated and replaced by a gender based movement that ACTUALLY advocates for the interests and needs of BOTH males and females. FEMinism will never do that, ever.

Nope. Real feminists aren’t talking about it at all, at least not in the west. If you meet a western feminist, they’re an idiot or an *sshole. Real feminists are overseas doing the necessary work to liberate women and girls who are actually oppressed. They’re not in the US or UK marching for female supremacy. Western women haven’t been an oppressed class in decades, arguably generations.
It’s easy to tell the difference. So it doesn’t matter what they call themselves. It’s just like Fred Rogers said, “Look for the people who are helping.”

Nope, I think people should become mature enough to understand the definition of feminist, it has a deep significance and it is pretty ironic how actually even those who believe in equal opportunities for both genders don't want to classify themselves as feminists nowadays. Those who are sexist and anti-men in name of feminism are not feminists. Stop associating them with that word.

We can't just change such a significant and important word for stupid people, instead stop associating them with that at all. It is not like you would go and substitute the term intelligence with something else if a person with 50 IQ claims himself as one, you will just ignore that person instead.

I think this is more of an American Karen thing, I don't see this happening in my country and in fact in many Asian countries. Instead my country is more patriarchal and people who call themselves feminists here most of the times have underlying misogynistic beliefs which they don't even realize because misogyny has so perfectly corrupted their mind that anything else seems unnatural or 'sinful' to them. And it is not only an issue with men (most of the men here confidently say they are against feminist mindset anyways), even the females in Asia have this issue. We have opposite of what you all have there lol, so whenever I see American media about the so called feminists abusing males I am always stunned because that is not even possible here for most part.

So my take is that just because of America we shouldn't just change that term, because most of the world is still not liberal or even comfortable with the idea of both genders having equal opportunities. Instead shame on those karens, they are doing more harm than Andrew Tate people.

by the way in the end, feminism is all about saving women from patriarchy. It is the women's side of 'equal opportunity' and tells the side of suffering of women in past.

Egalitarianism though, it about equality for everyone in every social dimension. Feminism is just a part of it. You all can use that term. However, changing the term feminism will do harm to most world compared to the good. The term feminism itself is an attempt to fight patriarchy.

The vocal, misandrist, feminazis definitely ran feminism off the rails even though normal women (the vast majority) who enjoy their civil rights, are nothing like the picture that a lot of guys have of feminism as a result of the few psychos.

Crazy feminists also created a backlash where some guys are afraid of women and want to go back to imaginary, idyllic times before women had any rights. And some guys now treat women like shit out of resentment.

But, in answer to your question, I can't think of an alternate word, even though I think it is a great idea.

Women who are Misandrist should call themselves that. There are plenty like that, but they do not want to face the truth when they look in the mirror. They gravitate to fields such as general primary and secondary education, sociology and anthropology. They are often found in HR departments of big corporations and government bureaucracies where they have disproportionate power over men and boys.

These women often do not respect marriage, men and families. Their constitutional rights cannot be denied. But men should identify, isolate and avoid them. Since children have the most vulnerable minds, Boys and girls schools should be separated and only men should be allowed to teach boys; which means they should be paid well.

Misandrist feminism is as much a cancer to Western culture as is Islam. And if there is any way to expunge either, they should be expunged. Both want to destroy Western culture.
