Did you know that the Pentagon is going to pay Boeing $8.68 billion to build fighter planes for the Israelis?

Doesn't it make you feel really glad to know that $8.68 billion of your tax money is going to build fighter planes for another country? I'm not sure where the Israelis are going to fly these things, since if they work at all, they might be very likely to kill the pilots and cause crashes and fires - after all, Boeing is building them. Only $2 billion of the money being paid is going to actually build the planes. The other $6.68 billion is for the usual corruption and grifting.

It will just be the usual overbudget shit. So it makes no difference who Boeing is making it for.

Also, China is unlikely to give them the rare earths for making it quick, anyway.

Well, yeah, it would be over budget, and normally I wouldn't care except this is our tax money that is going to pay to give the Israelis things to kill more people with. I suppose that Boeing's record of building defective planes in the last several years will go along with this and may deter the Israelis from making such bargains with Boeing in the future.

whats scary is 8 billion doesn't sound like much. I think that number is low.

Thing about this is it should be based on history lead to Israel losing lots more fighter pilots because Boeing builds planes that don't fly very well. Maybe this is a new or will be a new job market for fighter pilots.

I was disappointed that Elon Musk timed out of DOGE just before they were going to investigsted the pentagon. That would have been the mother lode.
