I can't see his actions sitting well with the military. It's been hugely damaging to their relations with allied countries and risks bogging down America in another Vietnam. I suspect most signed up to defend America not to take over other countries.

I would not be surprised if there's not already talks with the American military and other countries to arrest Trump and see him dance on the end of a rope.

They could try. The US military would love them to try. Remember Putin has an arrest warrant and Obama and Putin tried to remove Presiden Assad from power with military force and failed. Let's not forget Gaddafi. Least Trump can say there was less blood spilled in the removal of Mudaro than the removal of Gaddafi and attempt to remove Assad.

it's not legal. there's obviously an agenda. it's not good.

there are real wars going on and there are right sides to be on. while we did a good thing, it was for the wrong reasons. if norway or sweden wanted to disappear our president, that would be fine by me.

Yes, they can if he is charged in their court system. Of course, the success of that invasion is rather unlikely.

The US did this before in December 1989; I remember it well. The US used force to harass and ultimately subdue Panamanian dictator Manuel Noreiga who was charged with federal crimes. So, the GWB administration went into Panama and got him. That was considered a lawful act.

It was this act that laid the groundwork for the pretense for Trump to invade Venezuela to abduct Maduro. There are a lot of parallels between what happened 36 years ago and the other day.

the reaction will be bad though... there is no rule of law, its the rules of the powerful... which has violent consequences in the future.

Actually, yes they can, and I suspect that Congress and the American people would be very relieved if they did. If they didn't send him back. Since he's committed so many crimes, it would actually be a fairly reasonable thing to do. The only problem with all of this is that I don't think the US Secret Service or the US military would allow that to happen.
