Judge -Hannah Dugan was convicted of obstruction for concealing an illegal Mexican immigrant. I have mixed feelings. Do you, also?

By mixed feelings I mean this. This woman was a good judge by all records, and she did what she thought was right at the time, and it has cost her dearly. You may or may not share my feelings, but I do think persons who come here should do so legally, as I WOULD DO If I wanted to move to Italy/France etc.

I have a Mexican Construction company remodeling my home since my brother's death, and the men who work/ have worked here a some of the best craftsmen I have ever seen, and they work their asses off to finish a job and finish it well. Besides what the company pays them; I give each man 100.00 extra in many cases because of what they do and how they do it.

I don't how, if ever, we will solve the problem of thousands of illegals coming here (especially, those that are criminals and mentally ill) but many of the men working for me are from Central America, South America and Mexico and are simply the best people I have ever known. One of the OWNERS has worked inside my home, with me away on some other matter and I never have a concern.

I am also NOT concerned with judges who follow the law, as I am not concerned with Mexicans who do NOT break the law

but, I would be VERY concerned with judges who break the law when they know the law first and best... and I would be VERY concerned with Mexicans who break the law as well

I don't see the mix-up... we're talking about two different types of people

@NathanDavis My point was that the judge has some sympathies for illegals, and I too, even though I detest the illegal barrage of illegals over the southern border. What she did was more wrong than the illegals coming over the border

but I have none, for those in the law breaking their own laws

Good guys, strong work ethics and family oriented. It's too bad they were deceived into breaking the law.

Hopefully now that the displacement problem in South America is being addressed, they'll be able to return home and live a peaceful life.

She knowingly chose to break the law, and it's her job to uphold the law. I guess the question is, what are we willing to excuse? Do we pick and choose when we enforce the law? If someone is a good worker, do they get a pass? How much of a pass do they get?

Meh, it's part of the plan. She will get off on appeal, and get her job back. Then will be immune to Trumps prosecutions as a result.
