Because when I worked in bars, clubs, and restaurants the salary sucked, but tips made up for it. Now that I learned more about taxes you'd be mind blown if you see how much the government wants you to give.

Right. That's kind of where I was going with this, when you bartend or a waiter or something, and someone gives you cash, you are expected to pay taxes on it. Legally in the United States you are supposed to.
