There's an element of women in our society in the US who think endless compassion is a substitute for common sense. They approach serious situations like children-emotion first, consequences later. In their quest to be so caring, they manage to do more harm than good, putting themselves and the very people they claim to care about in danger.

Much of the trouble we have now was authored by people like yourself who seem to have a dearth of both compassion and empathy, and incidentally, the inability to think intelligently. You somehow have the idea that being ugly and nasty and brutal to people will intimidate them to the point that they are not going to do anything in response. History has proven that to be wrong - think 9-11. Going forward, have the intelligence to regard the prospect of the midterm elections with trepidation.

I remember the protests in England a while back to stop Gypsies getting evicted off a farmers land they were squatting on.

Of course the usual liberal minded champagne socialist people came out in support of this group of minorities that were being oppressed by this evil farmer making these poor Gypsies homeless.

What you dont understand is why you are less, in the eyes of the majority.

Some people help because they can, others because they see others as people like themselves just trying to get by. Sure some are just stupid and dont know any better, but their heart is often in the right place, even if actions are not.
