I think they do deserve a "domestice partnership" classification (legal framework) in society. "Render unto Caesar what is Ceasar's..."

Regardless about your feelings about them in "the next world", *on this one* they DO exist, and some legal "domestic partnership" framework should deal with such relationships, so that they can do the property transfers, make those vital decisions that husbands need to make for wives at times and vice versa, and all of those things where two same sex people have issues just like a husband and a wife could and do have, and so on. All of which is reasonable.

However, the dogmatic demand that such relationships *are the very same as marriages*, as made by the Supreme Court decision in Obergefell V. Hodges, needs to be overturned in the same way that Roe v. Wade was overturned: it read something magical into the Constitution that Just. Is. Not. There. You can call a Mule a Horse because both have four legs and a tail and can pull a wagon, but a Mule is still a Mule. (They cannot not reproduce the way horses can, to extend my analogy further.)

Or to be more blunt, the assertion of the gay activists that "Love Is Love", just is not so.

The love of parents to children and vice versa is wonderful, but it is different of that between a husband and a wife. Or two same sex partners to each other, for that matter.

Even the Ancient Greeks, who as we all know were "Totally Gay", had different terms for different kinds of love: Eros, Philos, Agape, and so on.

If the Ancient Gays could understand that, why not the modern ones?

I have no problem with LGB people. It's just a sexual preference. I even voted in favor of gay marriage.

I've known and still know some LGB people who are totally cool peeps. Granted, the way some gay guys act makes me sick, but I can ignore them.

I do have to say that I disagree with treating gays and lesbians the way racial minorities are treated and inserting them into every film and TV show just to signal diversity and inclusion.

The big problem is how T and then QI++ got tacked onto LGB. They have nothing in common with LGB.
The LGB community is not marginalized, although I'm not sure that they should be allowed to adopt children. But it's the TQI activists who should be marginalized out of existence.
