Do pro-choice advocates consider the long-term effects of abortion?

Do they ever think about the long-term effects of abortion on the economy and the culture at large? How much do they think about the impact of abortion on the way a society functions, and also on future generations?

If you are pro-choice, what do you think about things like this?

I'm deeply concerned about fertility rates. I'm 1/4th Japanese, but admittedly I didn't really get into that part of my family history until recently after my Japanese grandmother died, but the Japanese birth rate crisis hits close to home.

Smart people don't want to have kids, dump people have many kids. It's a sad reality.

I don't think banning abortions will fix the problem. The idea of forcing women to give birth is horrific. I'm in my second trimester with my first and it's been a rocky ride, but I have a loving husband, family, friends, and lots of money. I waited till I was ready to have kids. I can't imagine going through all of this at 16. The last thing I want is for a baby to be born to a mother who doesn't want them. Do you have any idea what that does to you?

Here is a better option. Keep abortions legal, safe, and rare. Give better sex education in schools so they know how to use a condom. Teach more stress management, time management, and vocational skills in high school. No one needs to learn calculus, or C6 H12 O6 unless you are going into that field.

Stop portraying parents as stupid on TV. Show the joys of parenthood. Reduce inflation and the cost of living. Eliminate the income tax, and 90% of licences. Get rid of drug Pattons. I could go on, but the point is to make it easier to be a parent.

Yeah, for ourselves and for others. But in my opinion, abortion is just a personal choice. It has fuck all to do with society or anyone not directly involved. People need to mind their own business.

Some get depressed, some face infertility if they go to a shit rate provider. But most of the time it's extremely positive, because their life, career, education and finances aren't being totally fucked over by a fetus they didn't want. Shit, I had 3 before I finally managed to get a partial hysterectomy. Each abortion was a relief, a blessing.

I’m not sure exactly what you’re trying to get at with this question, but the implications strike me as hypocritical.
I am neither “pro life” nor “pro choice”. Mostly because neither ideology is without a great deal of hypocrisy which i loathe.

It isn't just abortion that is causing this. It's a new awareness of life's other possibilities. There is no way I would marry a woman and have children with her even if the state could guarantee our family would stay together perfectly. It is not a goal I want to pursue. Couples can't produce that many children anyway. To get as many children as needed and of the correct demographic for the geographic aria we need to work at creating artificial means.

I have a friend that has gone to protest abortion clinics for decades.

While I admire his tenacity and his goals, he is also a boomer and unmarried with no kids of his own. I tell him often that our society is structured to be antinatalist at it's core. If politicians truly cared about fixing a population collapse, they could make a few changes to fix everything.

Hungary for example has a lot of pro family policy: Tax exemptions for mothers (lifetime for 4+ kids), housing loans forgiven per child, cash grants

The only reason this is a topic is because the Oligarchy is afraid of losing it's source of dumb, uneducated clones to fill the low level jobs needed to keep their industrial-military complex running. Instead of abortion rates, you should be more concerned with poverty and the lack of an educated populace, and when I "educated', I mean that they know the truth, but that's far more dangerous than pro-choice, isn't it?

More jobs are lost to automation and to not having enough skilled workers than any other reasons, period. There are more than enough people on the planet, and more than enough being born each year. The population doesn't need to expand constantly in order to survive.

That is by far one of the dumbest takes i’ve ever read on the internet. First of all, it’s a clear deflection. If you can’t argue the facts, you change the issue. Do you really think people don’t notice? 😂😂
Second, banning religion wouldn’t benefit society in the least. You can’t point to a single secular group or organization that does as much good as church groups do in this country. You can even compare ALL of volunteer and donation centers in the US combined and they don’t touch what religious groups do for their communities. We could tax them, but just like any filthy rich organization in this country, that would just put more money in the hands of shady NGOs and corrupt politicians, and less would be available to serve the community.

Murder is the illegal killing of another with malice aforethought. Ending a pregnancy isn't malicious, nor is it illegal in any civilized society.
