Last night. I was on campus at the local state university and some buildings have "bisexual" single user restrooms. The only reaction I was was that it was about 10:15 pm and, at the end of the day, that restroom was fairly clean.

There was one by my office in grad school that I used all the time. After the second time coming out of a stall to see a woman washing her hands, the shock goes away and it becomes normal.

public restrooms like that in the US only have one toilet meaning you got to wait for the person to get done using it but yes I used one before and they're usually cleaner then just one sex restroom.

Every day when I am home. Every bathroom in our house is unisex. Often, at small businesses, there is only one restroom.

I have used one or two or 3…. Etc when u have to go u have to go…, I have also used men’s room…

I don’t have feelings about these… if it’s yucky… I don’t use regardless if it’s m/f or whatever….

Once I used a unisex restroom. There were a bunch of stalls with proper doors and a few shared sinks. Bu chance, a woman came out of her stall at about the same time that I did. We washed our hands and let without exchanging words just like if it were men only.

It felt a tiny bit strange only because I'm unaccustomed to see women in that setting.

My local cafe has gendered toilets but the girls have decided there are two unisex toilets.

Annoys the hell out of me because girls are slow.

ALSO THEY LEAVE SEAT UP.

I now confront them when a girl comes out of the men's and ask if they put the seat back. I glare if they haven't

The terms for various bathrooms have been- essentially- completely reversed from what they should be.

"UNI" means ONE. [ example- unicycle= a cycle with one wheel, etc ] Historically, bathrooms HAVE been unisex bathrooms, male bathrooms and female bathrooms. Basic knowledge from when I was in kindergarten.

"OMNI" means ALL. [ example- omniscient = all seeing, etc ] OMNIsexual bathrooms would be open to all sexes.

In college we had a large coed restroom on the hall and so if you wanted to shower, pee or poo you had to use it. It really wasn't a big deal.

Of course, not every place has a separate one. Its pretty common to be unisex if there is only one toilet in the building.

All the time. But unisex here is a single person bathroom so only one person is in it at a time. Are you talking about a coed bathroom where men and women are in at the same time?

All the unisex bathrooms I've used are single occupancy. In other words, it just has a toilet and sink, with paper towels or a hand dryer. Maybe a baby changing station. So it's nothing special.

Here in the US yes but its usually one toilet so never different sexes in at the same time.

But in Italy it was a free for all. No biggie though, but I will admit It freaked me out the first time I was there when I was young lol

Yeah. every bathroom and port-a-potty is a unisex restroom. It's not hard to just do your buisness, wash your hands, and leave. It's called being respectful and keeping your hands to yourself.
