I read that 5 minutes after we withdrew from Afghanistan, the Chinese took over the strategic Bagram military airport. I can't imagine that they didn't also grab all the weapons we left behind.
The weapons were no real big deal. Its not like there was f35s or whatever. Most of what was left can be bought on the civilian market in the US and what was left was old gear from the war on terror now obsolete.
Humvess are already reverse engineered by the Chinese like a lot of us equipment, they litteraly just bought them and had them shipped to china from America. The helicopters and planes the Afghan national army were using were civilian turned to military or Russian made. I worked for a company a few years ago who thought it would be a good idea to sell their product to China, then management were surprised that the Chinese were making the same product selling it domestically in china and in africa

Now, the withdrawal was negotiated by Trump, Biden just followed the treaty. Now, did shit go wrong during the withdrawal, yes.
