Most people are aware that President Joe Biden has pardoned his son, Hunter. Many, from both parties, have aid it's a bad idea, especially after Joe repeatedly said he wouldn't do it.
Most are not aware that the pardon covers not only the gun charges Hunter was convicted of, but anything he did, or didn't do, for the past 11 years.
Sounds good?
It's not... for Hunter.
Experts have now pointed out that, should Hunter appear before Congress and be questioned about his involvement as a Ukraine Company Board Member, or any other thing Congress might be interested in asking him about, he can no longer decline to answer any question by pleading the 5th Amendment... he already has immunity from the pardon so he cannot incriminate himself.
We wonder if the President... and his son... realize this potential problem when the pardon was issued.
