Are we pressured to smile more than men?

Comments like "Ah, I like your smile." Comments like "you should smile more" are comments that we seem to hear more often than men. Why?

It’s not true. I get told to smile and asked “What’s your problem?” when i’m not smiling. Which is honestly most of the time. There are very few human experiences that are exclusive to women. You’re just way more likely to think yours is an entirely unique experience and even more likely to b*tch about having it worse. All without the foggiest inclination of the trials and tribulations of the average man, or the slightest desire to learn. It’s a textbook sign of narcissism that the vast majority of females exhibit. I’m talking about the real personality disorder, not the buzzword every third idiot is throwing around willy nilly these days.
Menstruation, pregnancy and childbirth… that’s the full range of exclusive female experiences. Aside from those, men experience all the same sh*t you do.

Not totally sure about that one. I've witnessed a ratio of smile suggestions of 90% women, 7 men, and 3 that I couldn't tell. gender. This has been over the last 31 years, so not a small sample but I have 0 from a female perspective.
