Instead of having laws passed based on emotion we could have laws passed based on logic and reason. I believe it would be a good step in the right direction for the USA.

Yes I think that would be a good idea. Instead, we should replace it with amendment that allows only married people to vote. That way, a huge chunk of liberals and conservative LARPers would be taken out of the voting pool.
