@mike_hum Don't overestimate your own failing country, shitheel. Any country that is able to buy jets from the US is able to produce its own fighter jets (or buy them from another country). It's just that until now, it was simplier just to buy them from the US, as they already had everything in place to build them right away.

This is just another financially damaging chapter in the "stop buying American and let them buy their own stuff" fiasco initiated by trump.

So yeah, considering that you still can get a semi-automatic rifle legally with a standard firearm licence, I'm pretty confident that our gun laws work.

Or maybe it has to do about us being (collectively) less stupid, less right-leaning, more educated, less poor, more cared for by our universal healthcare system? I don't know...
