Each leader has a different set of circumstances to deal with
If we look at national success you could argue Prince Albert II of Monaco is the greatest leader as his country boasts the highest GDP per capita.
But the truth is it’s an easy achievement if your country is just one small city full of rich people and favorable tax and banking laws making it treasure cove for the wealthy around the world.
If we stick to that list I would chose Putin.
He’s definitely the most cunning and ruthless as well as a visionary.
The man presides over a large country with tons of communities many of which poor and prone to violence yet he wields power with a fist of iron and has been doing so for over 30 years (since before he took office)
I want to say as well Putin, but i voted Xi.
Xi understand better the power of economical sistem better then the power of war.
But even Putin is an evile genius, succeeding to intoxicate the entire continent of Europe with Russia propaganda by pointing out small problems in the nations and make them look bigger then in the reality, creating lot of additional instability is the society and politic. Not needing to use bombs in order to conquer the people drain. The biggest succeed been Brexit, Romania cancel election, Hungary hostility to EU and Trump election as president.

Didn't Trump's IQ score of 73 leak? Add generational shifts and he would likely be below 70 now. That is the actual limit of retardation people.
If we are not all just joking around Angela Merkel, as a doctorare in quantum chemistry, is the very obvious choice.
Really. This is an absolute no-brainer.
From your list it has to be Xi Jinping, he most efficient, look how he smashed the Uyghurs.

lol i was laughing at trump being the top vote. but then i thought: huh... if you consier not what he does for the people but for himself in terms of personally beneficial outcomes, he is pretty smart actually. just not smart in terms of doing good things for the people that voted for him.
There is no such thing as a smart leader in today's times, a smart person doesn't want to lead.
Xi seems pretty patient in building up China to be an economic powerhouse of quality affordable Made in China products - or is say Macron (sounds like the cafe biscuit lol) 🍪 seems like a smart guy to have won so many elections and seems to be likeable to Allies - shrug 🙃
Xi seems to follow that English movie I watched once with Charlton Heston in the role something about Chinese patience - shrug film camera 🎥
Honestly, X Jinping seems to be guiding China in a pretty polished and productive way. And not pissing off the entire planet while doing it. His performance stands in contrast to the current US bumbling fool in the White House.
Unfortunately, Netanyahu is on the list of the world's smartest people with an IQ of 180.

He got a great IQ and education
I nominate Alex Stubb, President of Finland. Very smart with a good academic career but very practical on geopol. Especially wrt next door Russia.
Well being "smart" is subjective... but I would put Canadian PM Mark Carney up there.
Or the way he works the room as "like a seasoned professional" - understandable given his mature age compared to his previous leader of the same political party, Justin (no not Bieber) who was younger. 🌺
Right now, it's Mark Carney, the Prime Minister of Canada. I can tell who dumbest leader is too, but he's not really a leader, he's just a grifter.
Newsflash: Angela Merkel has not held public office since 2021. 🙄
Merkel has been gone for 5 years now. Macron has highest IQ. Best leader or clever leader? Putin. Worse leader by example is Trump. He never leads by example , usually the opposite.
@exitseven Trump is the swamp and he is protecting the swamp of child molesters. You can't be that stupid , can you? Trump has done nothing but lie about everything. He preached for years against the Presidents that made war and now he is starting wars left and right. He is doing exact opposite of what he ran on. I would never had voted for him if I knew he was going to do that.
@exitseven Yea murdering people in the street
I now know most of the people on here are retarded or just easy to fool. Or just Fools
From the videos I've seen on Twitter, Putin's common sense has all the others beat
Chinese President Xi Jinping
He's been there 10+ years now hasn't he, as party leader? I always think time in office for any leaders is always a fascinating thing to rank them by
from those options, probably xi or putin
Kristrún Frostadóttir
I pick Trump. He knows something about everything.
This is a fair answer and even I would admit that, yes President Trump does seem to have a lot of opinions as one man, as one leader. He seems to like to have a view on everything. Kind of a guy.
Nothing about that petri dish of a spoiled sperm sample would make him smart or great. His legacy will be the most hated man ever in the United States and the sooner it becomes a legacy the better.
@katiesmuff History will remember him as the best President in the last 100 years. Tonight he will discuss what he has already done and the plan for the future. It is very impressive.
In your dreams!
@katiesmuff did you watch the speech? It was 2 hours but covered it all.
God NO I didn't watch that habitual liar which is however pretty much what this mornings political news folks are saying. They are being a bit more classy using the word (illusions)
@katiesmuff yes, if you watch CNN. Everyone else thinks it was one of the best
nypost.com/.../
Never once ever watched CNN, or Fox. Mainly watch local SNN Sarasota or WGN Chicago. It's a shame you've been duped by this clown and his cowards but great thieves. Tell me how much your grocery bill has gone down, or is there any affordable housing in your area, what about gasoline, plus how prices of everything rising because WE (YOU & ME) pay those fucking tariffs which are doing nothing but make him and his friends richer. Thank god in Nov it will come to an end and as he said awhile back he will be impeached as the lefties (as you call them) slaughter the Maga party in the midterm.
@katiesmuff The reality is that the CPI index has risen 2.4% over the last year which was exactly the rate of inflation. When Biden was president it rose an average of 6.7%. almost 3 times what it was last year. I am filling my truck with it's extra large tank for around 65 dollars. When Biden was in office it was always over s hundred.
The foreign countries are paying the tariffs. If they did not people would not buy their shitty products and they would buy something made in USA. This is why the trade deficit has been decreased. Less imports and more exports.
Yup those fantastic tariffs work so well! That must be why trumps own bought and paid for SCOTUS shut him down with his idiot tariffs. I've come to the conclusion you really have no idea what the hell your talking about.
@katiesmuff If the tariffs are costing American's money than why is inflation a low 2.4%? Nobody seems to be able to explain this.
Like I've said before that number is not a true example and what everyone does see is the cost of groceries, cars, homes and the million other day to day things we have to buy.
@katiesmuff The CPI is a representation of things that Americans normally buy. I am not sure if it was a different mix when Biden was president but what I do know for sure is that when Biden was president prices went up a lot every single week and it was over a hundred bucks to fill up my truck. Now it is around 60 bucks. I see that as a win.
You are so far brain dead with this CPI, you don't know the difference between oranges or apples
I have not met them all.
Trump knows something about everything
TRUMP seriously? Well I guess with THOSE options
None of these ding dings
Smart people don't want to lead
Pretty sure its someone not on that list.
Among that bunch, Ms. Merkel.
Putin
Credit where credit is due he has been president since, 2000? Shrug
Merkel
Vladimir putin!
