The scandals listed are all equivalently bad. No one should take advantage of minor children. It's call pedophilia and is illegal and unethical.

The bottom line is minors are CHILDREN. But there are sick adults who don't care. And use those kids for their own satisfaction. It's ugly.

That’s hard to pick one of those. I’m not religious, but I’d say priests. They are supposed to be a haven for those that are down, less fortunate, poor and looking for guidance. At least, that is my understanding of their roll.

Just because you democrats think it’s okay to r*pe kids, that doesn’t mean that it is okay. Democrats caught up with Epstein are just as scandalous as republicans. Quit being such a willfully ignorant pinhead. None are better or worse than the others.
They’re all POS and should be executed publicly, no exceptions. Execute everyone who was complicit too, including pigs, prosecutors and judges who looked the other way or offered them leniency.

It’s by far the single worst thing about the USA that it’s somehow controversial to protect children and punish predators. Anyone who can’t agree on those two simple things is subhuman and should also be executed.

If you're going by simple numbers though, from what I've read, teacher-student scandals are the worst. One report I just looked at says it's more than three times worse than amongst clerics. And it also doesn't help that we are funding it with our tax dollars, while tithing for the Church is encouraged (within reason and means), so there's less financial incentive to solve the problem.

So really, in a situation like this, there are no, if you will, "winners". Just varying degrees of awfulness.

Boy scouts sexual abuse was pretty big.

Any large organisation historically that has access to children, disabled people, vulnerable girls or women, mental health patients etc had massive amounts of abuse. The US school system for instance has huge historical rates of sexual abuse on students male and female before 2000, higher than the Catholic church. Mental health institutions in the US had huge rates of historical sexual abuse.
