America. It's simply too far away for middle east countries to attack. Russia and China theoretically could attack but neither really wants to be drawn in to an expensive conflict. Most likely hostile middle east nations will attempt to bomb Europe.

The real danger us soaring oil prices will cause food shortages and civil unrest globally.

Problem with bioweapons is they can spread globally, as we saw with covid. Personally, I'd play on divisions within America by using minor acts of terrorism to cause riot after riot.

I wouldn't worry about "WW 3" right now because that's not going to happen.
However, the safest place, in a sense, is Antarctica. That said, you're more likely to die of starvation or hypothermia there than anywhere else because, once the supply planes stop, you're fucked.

So, perhaps the next best thing is St. Helena. Not a lot of job opportunities, but it should be easy to survive should 1) the SHTF and 2) if you can get some fresh water.

South part of Argentina. Every day that radiation cloud reaches the region where you are, fast decaying isotopes decay and it become less deadly, at least those isotopes which kill fast. Those which cause cancer need dozens of thousands of years or even longer to decay. However cobalt-60 and iodine-131 will reach even south america after few months and containminate everything

Nobody is going to nuke south America or south Africa so somewhere there most likely. Any country that has political power will be where the nukes strike so.
