Modern times people are full of sin, hate and evil selfish ways, agree?

In thr past 10 years I've noticed a decline in modern kindness toward our fellow man.

Many are filled with decepit, lies, lust, greed and out for themselves

Married people cheating. Trying to meet a decent person to be a "friend" with seems literally impossible.

People are cruel, unkind and deeply selfish.

I just think that it is more easier to catch someone cheating or lying now. If anything I believe many people of modern time are accepting of others around them. There are bad people around in every times, but if I had to choose then I will live in this era rather than times before.

Like living as a woman is more easier now than it was before, I can now openly say that I am of LGBTQ and there will be people to accept me, I don't have to be a certain race to be treated nicely and all.

Religion kept this behavior down at least to some degree. A lot of people have to think that the creator of the universe is standing right over their shoulder with a club or they won't even try to be ethical. If they become atheists they think because God is not watching, doesn't even exist they're free to be the worst scum. They haven't got the sense to know that our moral sense is like our other senses. It evolved to protect us so we can live together in groups and survive better. It's as if someone was standing on train tracks and saw a train coming but just stood there because they thought they could just ignore the evidence of their sense of sight. Morality isn't to make you feel good about your self it's to create an environment in which you can survive much better than you could without it.

i really don't know if things are that much different than in the past.

i think we are just far more aware of things going on in our information age. if someone cheated 150 years ago few were going to potentially find out outside of his social circle

If you want to look for evil, you will find it everywhere.
If you want to look for good, you will find it everywhere.
You want to believe the world is a terrible place so that is all you see. If you want to have a better world, look for it.

yes, people do not have a moral compass anymore. kids kill each other over a pair of sneakers, relationships are disposable and if people do something dishonest a reasonable explanation is "its just business".
There is evidence that young people are heading back to the church. Maybe this will help.

This game has no rules. Believe me or not but this is human nature and moral, belief, pretty words are just nice facade around the egoistic ego. Maybe you didn't notice than 10 years ago or you didn't want to accept this state of reality but this wasn't different.

Perception of the world around us happens in our heads. Few nice people, maybe someone who loves you and your perception changes locally. Of course it's just an illusion, like your current perception about the evil world.
