Why are a majority of Americans against the Iran War?

Question

It is a HUGE positive if we can succeed in taking down the regime. Unlike Afghanistan, most people in Iran actually WANT freedom, not being run by a murderous brutal theocratic dictatorship. They have a history of being our friends in the past. This is a major ally for China and Russia. Flip that in to being pro-western friendly. And the threat they pose never goes away. The question of success still has to be settled, but for most people to be against this? Lacking a spine.

notice where restrictions on freedom are... dead last! the people of Iran do not a necessarily western life they wanted simply a better day to day life. not that dissimilar to what americans want right? (top two issues, costs, inflation, unemployment... sound familiar?)

Americans aren't in favor of the war because we are tired of American dollars and lives being spent trying to determine outcomes for non-americans. we want the money spent on a bomb used for something that actually helps the average American. we want the money and military might gifted to israel used in some ways to address problems in america. and lastly we are tired of seeing our American soldiers, diplomats and journalists dying in vain for a region that doesn't want us there.

america isn't bombing iran to save their people from a dictatorship. Realize that we are doing this mainly to put a chokehold on iran sending oil to china. China has always relied on iran for oil... and especially necessary now to start a war to take over taiwan.

The majority of polling publicized by the media targets Democrat because that is the audience of broadcast legacy media. They need their audience to feel like they are right to inspire a sense of superiority. It's what keeps their viewers locked on their channel to absorb the propaganda. Just like Hitler told his follower they were the master race, and Mohamed told his follower that Muslims are the best of people, so to do broadcast news media tell that to the people locked in the media matrix that follow their narratives that they are right and superior. So the polling results must reflect the narrative they are selling. If it contradicted then people might catch on to the fact that they are pushing lies. Thus they do the polling to tell them that they are right in the narratives they push that they do polling on. It's a perfect circle of circular reasoning that leaves retarded people stuck in a loop.

Like I think we should go in. But even I have a sick in my stomach feeling because I don't trust the military industry to not make this somehow last way longer than it needs to.

We've failed every regime change war since ww2. Maybe Japan but that took 2 nuclear bombs which was the lesser evil then throwing them to the Russians wanting revenge.

They aren't. The majority of Americans support taking down the main sponsor of terrorism, but the majority of the media is liberal and lies constantly.

Remember, most polls showed Trump would easily lose the first election when he beat Hillary too. There have been so many times when things have been falsified and lies spread to oppose anything Trump does.
