What is white privilege?

I keep hearing that I have some kinfld of white privilege but I have yet to find out what it is because if I have it well shit I wanna use it ya know... I've asked the folks that say it but they domt really seem to know because they never answer the question except one person told me that im not as likely to get harassed by the cops but I have been the target of a couple of cops that did harass the fuck out of me.
I find it kind of odd though that so many people mostly black say I have white privilege but im not privileged enough to have my own skin colored tv channels, I dont get a job just because im white and i dont get anymore free schooling or a month dedicated to the history of my skin color and I guess I just dont get it because I also work a full time job and make to much for food stamps or whatever but I dont even make enough to live in a house because I currently live in a tent... I guess ita a privilege compared to the folks staying in a box or nothing at all but I dont know that is call it a white privilege because last I looked all were welcome... after chaos will come peace and these folks come in and looked like they save us to look like the good guy.

White privilege means you don’t expect to be harassed by police every time you see or encounter one, it means you don’t have to wonder if someone is following you when you see the same person over and over again when you’re just trying to shop for groceries, you don’t fear for your kids whenever they go to school, if they’ll be unjustly targeted by bullies or worse by their teachers.
That’s not to say you don’t experience hardship at all, it just means that the types of hardship you experience are the kind that don’t follow you or your family socially.
It’s the same way how men can’t relate to the struggles of being objectified like women. Men want to be seen as sexual objects without realizing how much women hate it or have to guard themselves over it and how a woman can never fully let her guard down around the presence of any man because of that societal aspect of being a woman. And I don’t expect you to understand any of that because that is a male privilege you don’t have to experience in the same way you have white privilege.

it's been 40+ years. if you really want to know what white privilege is look it up. there are literal books written on the topic. no one here is going to convince it's real because you don't earnestly care about truth. you would contextualize your question with so many clear bias if you actually were open minded to the truth.

The fact you're a White guy and you're blind to White privilege is exactly why White privilege is a problem. You see the way things are as a baseline. Normal. You deserve those things. You think you're not getting any special treatment. But you're blind to a different reality for minorities.

Supposedly if you are white you have an advantage over everyone else. So far i haven't seen it. I was turned down for financial aid in college, denied food stamps when my kids were little, got beat out for jobs to minority candidates who had less education and experience.
