Why are so many young men today shifting back to traditional beliefs?

I think this quote symbolizes what happened to men for a while. I would add that they were encouraged to dishonor their fathers in traditionalism for quite some time by Government propaganda/academia and entertainment., But with the modern emergence of social media, it’s kind of highlighted how cringe idolizing other people in general is, especially people that do not deserve any special attention or respect.

Can you even read that graph? Is it not incredibly obvious that it is WOMEN who have changed direction, and far more radically, then men? Outside of Korea (which we could discuss separately, as their situation has some unique aspects), you'll notice that men have changed far less than women.

And even in Korea, men's movement is a direct result of women's movement. You'll notice that men followed along the women's trajectory for a while, bowing to societal pressure to do so, until they figured out that they were figuratively being led off of a cliff to their deaths, and came to completely reject the radical feminism and went the complete opposite way.

More and more men are finished with Feminism, and with government systems that put all the responsibility onto men and provide all the benefits to women. That's a came men can't win, and can barely even survive, so men have simply stopped playing that game and started a new one, where the rules are more favorable to men. Women aren't forced to play that game, but they're not going to get anything from men until they do. It will be up to women to make that choice or not, but men have already chosen - they'll choose to be alone before they choose to accept Feminism.

Yes, they are - but that's not because men are getting more radical. Men are simply reverting back to the standards that served the human race for many thousands of years, and that were widely practiced until the late 60s/early 70s when radical Feminism came into being.

Because it couldn't possibly be something as simple as wealth inequality putting education and housing out of reach. The pendulum never stops and it only slows down at the extreme ends. It swings too swiftly past brief periods of moderation from one extreme to the other.
Many people are conflating the radicalization of the left with progressivism. Their knee jerk response is to lean into conservativism. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, per se. It will definitely lead directly into more far right radicalism though.
More people need to take more time to gather more information and make more reasonable and moderate adjustments to their perspectives. Unfortunately there is nothing but common sense driving that solution. Every external influence in most people’s lives is driving more irrational and even radical narratives.

My thoughts? Probably because progressivism and feminism have lied to them, stripped them of their sense of meaning and identity and mission, and been all around terrible for society and families. They think (rightly so) that traditionalism will provide more and better guidance and moral formation for them and that it will give them a better sense of meaning and direction.
