I think there's an argument to be made for the perspective that we made the middle east significantly more peaceful by getting those countries to agree to economic codependency. A deal like that insinuates America isn't going to just leave when things get muddy. Iran doesn't want peace. Their economy is basically built off of being able to send terrorists anywhere because sanctions for their past of violence has forced them to become self sufficient enough to do so.

The straight has been essentially made unusable because of them. It's a problem for everyone. And all the while they're making propaganda about attacking America. The country which has brought all these other countries together. It's a very clear message.

That they don't want peace, they don't want to participate with others and there's no action that's too far in order to assert their ability to trade in violence outside their own borders. They don't care about human rights or putting billions of dollars of strain on the world economy.

Even if you think trump is evil, these are still very real variables at play.

He is a symptom not the cause. The real cause is that US completely subverted by people who don't care about US but god chosen land in middle east. This isn't a question of red or blue, both have same goal just different approaches.
Few years back the message was "We need to support this particular country to destabilize this region, otherwise Arabs will unite and dictate oil prices". Of course this was a lie either. The real reason is expansion of this particular country. This what Trump cares for and for profits of so called 1%.

All presidents say it, it's a dumb thing to say as most do get into war and you can't guarantee an avoidance of war as ya know uncertainty of future events.

Also, his wars are dramatically, weakening enemies of the United States, Without even attacking most of them directly.
