Why did Minnesota have to sue the Trump administration for evidence in the Pretti, Good, and Sosa-Celis cases?

After the murders of Alex Pretti, Renee Good, and the shooting of Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis in Minnesota, state and local authorities were denied access to key evidence needed to investigate the shootings. Sometimes the feds refuse to share evidence because of case-specific investigative needs, but in these cases, the refusal to cooperate came from senior federal officials.

The thing is, when someone is in the position where the evidence provided clears their name they tend to present it in a court of law to clear their name. Right to a fair trial, right?

So, the same can be said for US Govt. If you are totally justifiably killing American citizens who have done wrong doing then not only present your evidence to the public, but turn over all the evidence so that justice can prevail.
When you keep the evidence to yourself and prevent US States from conducting lawful investigations into possible wrongdoing of a government official or acting on behalf of the US Govt, you make it seem that your case is weak and indefensible.

To those that say otherwise, no because this is the logic of the matter.
Logic doesn’t care about your feelings. This is how it works, you present One side of evidence then the Other side presents theirs and the evidence with it. Whichever is more accurately portrayed with the evidence provided wins or at least should be that way.

If the government has a surplus of evidence, release it in the arms of the law.

Because "senior federal officials" are protecting murderers. If they can keep them from being convicted, Trump won't have to pardon them, and Republicans won't lose votes from people who care about the law and justice.

I think, to some extent, you're right, except that Republicans are already going to lose a lot of votes from people who care about the law and justice, since the Republicans and particularly Trump have demonstrated their complete contempt and indifference to both the law and justice over and over and over again.

you force things into a lawsuit, so then it will take years and years for anything to proceed... and by the time that comes... nobody will care for it that much

Yes that's pretty much what the government has done over and over again. They can afford it because they pay their lawyers with our money.

You can run but really can't hide. Murder has no time tables. One way or another , they will be brought to justice or knock themselves off.

If the government had any exculpatory evidence, it would turn it over immediately. However, it seems it does not, so rather than admitting to that and admitting to its culpability, the government has decided instead to turn over no evidence whatsoever. This makes the government's case seem weak and indefensible, except for those who believe everything the government tells them, in which case the government can do no wrong and its agents can do no wrong.

like i've said. it was faked. but i haven't watched the charlie kirk video. i heard it was graphic and that's not my thing. but is it possible that it was faked as well?

What is it that you think was faked, and how would you know that it was faked?

i think the julio case is real. because this was one of the points of AI being pushed. the point of controlling all media outlets. it is so they can say whatever they want and have video proof that passes. but watching the videos it seemed like watching actors and not a real scenario. stuff didn't add up in all of the videos that i've seen.
