This is a very narrow and simplistic view of a nuanced topic. People are incredibly unique when it comes to life experiences and how those experiences shape their values. People who in engage in protests against trump are not defaulted to being intellectually inferior. That doesn't logically add up. You merely don't agree with their value system based on your life experience and perception of the world at this given time.
I believe the most effective way to mitigate the issue of declining birth rates is to economically incentivize people to have kids. I'm not talking about a tax-credit which already exist. I'm speaking more about creating an economy in which having a child doesn't bankrupt you emotionally and financially. Providing just for yourself is already challenging despite having a degree. Adding a child into the mix puts you in a state of survival. The cost of childcare is unobtainable for most people and their parents who would typically help are delaying retirement just to survive as well. What ends up happening is you have two parents working full time who are burnt out and can't survive without debt. It destroys them slowly. Robs their children or a good childhood. People are aware of these realities and choose not to engage in it because it feels irresponsible even though they would like to.
The American mantra is to pick yourself up by your bootstraps and work harder. The truth is that not everybody has the capability to earn STEM degrees, or work for 60-70 hours a week doing manual labor. It's just not feasible for the vast majority of the population. Normal everyday people need to live in an economy in which they can afford a house, retire, and support a family as well.
Gen Z is interesting in the sense where they've seen us millennials get burned by this system with little to no reward, and aren't nearly as submissive to it. I think it's because millennials invested so much into this idea of the American Dream.
This literally has nothing to do with transgenderism or having a certain political affiliation lol. Subscribing to those buzz-words or believing that the root of our issues is anything than a collapse of government and economic failure is non-sensical in my opinion.
I say this as somebody who is doing well financially, holds higher education, has a wife and two kids. The amount of shit my wife and I had to get to this point where I'm at today is unbelievable for a pretty average lifestyle.

1) The USA has the highest maternal death rate of any developed, high income nation. Care to tell us why that is?
2) The USA has the highest infant mortality rate of any developed, high income nation. Care to tell us why that is also?
Which policies need to be changed to fix that? Let's see:
a) No investment in pre-natal care
b) Not enough access for special care
c) Uninsured or underinsured issues
4) Rural hospitals and clinics being forced to shut down due to lack of federal funding
5) Lack of post birth care and assistance to need families
That's just naming a few.
How about the cost of an average, "normal" pregnancy?
a) A typical, non-emergency or special needs birth typically costs $19,000.
b) If you're fortunate enough to have insurance, your out-of-pocket will be anywhere from $3,000 - $5,000.
c) If there are critical care issues, those numbers can easily double or triple.
Then, there's the question of being able to afford raising the child in the current environment. Single wage earners supporting families are about 20% of the population and shrinking. Day care costs are prohibitive. Assistance like SNAP have more restrictions now because for some reason, they're not "affordable"?
Dare I point out that 6 days of war with Iran costs the same as funding that entire program for the entire country, for a full year.

Honestly. The government needs to stop taxing the shit out of working class and middle class people. Property needs to be cheaper to rent or buy. People need to have more disposable income. Conditions need to exist so that a single income can support a household and couples need to be able to start having kids sooner like early 20s not mid 30s.

Girls go off to college at 18 for 4 years and their plan is to meet an established guy on a guy with good prospects, get engaged within 3 years, graduate and find a job and by age 30 get married and be established in that job so that they can have at least 1 child and maybe 2 more before they hit 40. But with the economy etc that plan gets pushed further and further back so theyd be lucky to have 1 child at all.

I think the main reason for the decline in the birth rate is expensive housing and the lack of adequate support from the state.
If I knew that the state would help me and my future husband buy a house (not a mortgage), help with paying for services in the maternity home, help with money for feeding the children, sending them to school, etc., I might have wanted to have 3-4 children.
But since the existing support is not enough, I first need to make a good career, and this is not possible before the age of 30-35, and it is not a fact that I will be able to financially support more than 2 children.
Anyway, I'm only 19 now, so I don't want to think too much about it yet.

Allow boys and girls only spaces again. Towns could get small subsudies for hosting public events like concerts and what not. Maybe some of the companies building datacenters can chip in.
The unemployment office should have a headquarters shared with the people who approve visas for foreign workers so that if there's a programmer having trouble finding a job, they can set an appointment and be compared against visa applicants.
That way there could be a system where a business makes an application for a visa candadate, maybe they get a certain number of hires no questions and after a threshold, the unemployment office tells them either hire our guy or find another American.
Subsedize commercials for products where the advertisement teaches a skill. For example, if a company that makes drills makes an ad about how to drill so not to split the wood instead of how powerful the drill is, they can have 10% of the production/placement costs refunded up to maybe 10k.
Tax foreign workers more on the business side based on the delta of what they're getting paid against fair market value. Which should be calculated in a way that involves the companies, the government and any union definitions.
And incredibly aggressive, borderline unfair antitrust enforcement. Any business who is cut slack for national security should be broken up in a way where outside vender can be used and those vender can get specialized, negotiated in person deals on things like tax and regulation breaks if it's decided that's what's necessary to compete against foreign suppliers.

m I suggest 2 different routes:
Taking down governments, all of them. Instead reinstate full and worldwide social control by whatever organized religion, well, preferably monotheistic, to shove-- I mean educate again the next generations into the sacred duty of spawning babies.
Or go the USSR route, and shove-- I mean remind people to celebrate the greatness of nation, family and labour. It make take some time to dissipate individualistic habits of some societies though.

The Role of Government is to prevent and punish crime.

I guess economics aren't something you know anything about. Ask any economist and they'll tell you inflation and prices have increased at a faster rate than they should. As for groceries, I can show you my receipts from Biden's entire presidency and now. They've risen by about 25%, that is with me buying fewer and cheaper things. I used to spend between $150-$175 a week for groceries. Now I spend close to $200 a week. I have no idea where you were where gas was $5-$8 under Biden for all 4 years of his presidency. If gas where you are is now $3.22 a gallon, you've moved to a place where it's cheaper overall.

A drastic decrease in the population would result in a higher birth rate. Teaching young women that their sexual market value drops after age 22 and that they are old maids and left-over women after age 25, would increase the birth rate. Most any other policy would be very expensive.
