When a President has Dementia or goes insane or just makes terrible decisions or uses office to get rich with insider trading or selling decisions or policies or selling pardons. We need a way to vote someone out of office. We shouldn't have to wait 4 years of abuse.

No-confidence only works in parliamentary systems. For a no-confidence motion to pass it means a PM has lost gov't in practice since he can't command a majority.

In a parliamentary system the executive is within parliament so it just doesn't translate to the US with the executive outside parliament (Congress). No-confidence is a lot quicker as there is no pretense of a trial.

In reality it seldom happens in parliament but in the party rooms that a PM is executed. Usually it takes two goes. The first attempt destabilizes and the second finishes the PM off.

The PM's crime is always that it doesn't look like the PM can win the next election due to low polls and nearly always happen in the last year of a term.

Congress can insert itself into the 25th Amendment, if it wants to. But it still needs to have the agreement of the VP.

@loveslongnails President Trump had a withdrawal plan that would have avoided all the chaos and the death of American servicemen. Biden scrapped it just because it was Trump's plan and it would have made him look good. He listened to Gen Milley and just pulled us out, giving up a strategic military base and leaving behind 80 billion dollars in weaponry for the Taliban.
It was the most embarrassing day in American history.
