Am I a snob for disliking coarse language and crude humour?

My poorer friend seems to be distancing himself more and more from me, because I don’t like coarse language and I don’t find Rodney Rude’s humour amusing. I think he thinks I’m a snob.

I’m not trying to be a snob, I just don’t like coarse language and I find coarse humour offensive. Should I keep trying to be his friend, or just let him go?

Girl, the entire post reads like a snob wrote it. Either embrace it, along with the lack of empathy that comes with the innate privilege of living amongst the rich, or take accountability, accept criticism, and change to be the person you want to be instead of who you currently are.

Well, I did accept criticism. I asked the general population what they think out of curiosity and I didn’t defend myself. Why? Because I wanted other people’s honest opinions to get some idea of how poorer people regard people with money.
