I told my group I thought I would need a graduate degree to get a boyfriend cause I wanted a guy with a graduate degree and a girl told me I was a huge snob and it was bad of me.

And later I said I thought I was psycho cause I actually considered dating people younger than me and once again she was lecturing me for being a snob.

It is actually true that educated, modern professional men prefer women who are college educated instead of some high school drop out who works as a bathroom cleaner at mcdonalds. Having a graduate degree will not exactly make you the perfect person for a guy with a graduate degree. There is the whole person that counts such as chemistry, compatibility of lifestyle / temperaments, physical attraction.

At your age, I wouldn't be too picky on who I date. Because as you grow older, the smaller the dating pool would be for BOTH men and women. Stop being picky, unless you want to be single forever,

How close are you to a graduate degree? If we’re being honest your education level doesn’t affect your desirability to men, in fact quite the opposite can be said to be true in many cases. Men generally aren’t expecting women to provide for them, so having an advanced degree doesn’t matter as much as skills, demeanor, maturity level, sense of humor, are you fun to be around, etc. nobody is saying don’t get one, but I doubt that a man who has one would reject you solely for not having one with all other things being desirable about you.

It's actually snobby to believe that you are better than everyone because of various reasons and tell them so and treat them like shit. No, this seems reasonable. If one of your non-negotiable factors is education then you have the right to expect that in a partner. Just don't look down on others that don't have advanced degrees. Treat folks with kindness and you'll be ok☺️
