We have a public holiday for the 8 hour day. So every body has plenty of time to do this.

35hrs a week, as legally stated since this 2000s labour reform, if you do more you get compensated with paid days off, proportionately. Though it isn't as nice as it could sound, in terms of pressure, since jobs previously done in 40hrs, prior to that reform, didn't change. In my opinion, people just got less time to achieve the same amount of work. Which wasn't the spirit of that reform ofc, the (naïve) idea was to generate more employment.
