Do you tip your casino dealers, and how much is fair?

I deal cards for a living, we get paid minimum wage, so we are at the mercy of the players as to if we pay our bills or not... and lately we haven't seen nearly as much mercy as we used to, so I ask:

No, the casino pays them

Yes, always

Yes, if theyre fast

Yes, if theyre sociable

Yes, if theyre pretty

My cousin is a dealer, I'll have to ask her what she makes in tips. I WAS going to apply for the job until they started asking for fingerprints and all kinds of other shit, like they didn't trust me or thought I was gonna steal shit!! I completely understand why they need to go through all of that but I just didn't want to deal with the hassle or the stress of making sure they had nothing to accuse me of!! I just wanted a job and to play cards! I'm not interested in stealing money!! What happens if I get caught? I lose everyone's trust AND I spend a number of years in jail!! NOT for me, thank you very little!!! And, I just LEFT a job where I processed millions of dollars every day and I never had to go through any of that and it was my BOSSES at the bank that tried to steal billions from them!! I'M one of the few people that caught them!!!

If youd like i can DM you & give you those sorts of details, but I can tell you if you're a social person, its a great job to have and pays well.

And yes, they dont trust us, but for them to trust us would be negligent. I work at a rather large casino and the most common reason we lose dealers (aside from them being separated for attendance due to stress) is theft. I've seen the equivalent to a years pay be wagered and lost in a single hand. So, foe someone who has larceny in their heart, the temptation could be real... I, however, give it no thought.

All of that said, I knoe good and well that they are watching me, both in and outside of the casino. I know they have private investigators on staff and fully expect they keep tabs on me, it would be negligent for them not to.

All of this said, I am an asset they have invested plenty of time and money into and the casino I work for takes very good care of its dealers amd as long as I follow their rules and protocols, I've got nothing to worry about.

The best part of the job is that the culture is that as long as you immediately admit. to your mistakes so the supervisors can fix them, you dont get docked for them. They do this so you dont fix your own mistakes so as to maintain accountability. There is nothing in a casino you can fuck up that cannot be unfucked.

As I said, I'm not interested in stealing money. Even if I did, I'd try to see to it they get it back when I can better afford to.
She deals Blackjack and, as far as I can tell, is practically in charge of the tables. I LIKE playing Blackjack but, from what I've seen and heard, they've got WAY different rules for how to play than I was ever taught and I don't know if I can learn all those new rules on top of all the protocols to keep it from looking like I'm doing dirty deeds.
I don't think the local casino has Baccarat tables but they DO have Poker tables in the back. If all I have to do is toss cards to the others and move the chips around, I could do that.
