I know not all negative or insulting comments in the YouTube comment section are bots. Some of them come from real people.
It is just these days it seems like a lot of the negative or insulting comments on YouTube in the comment section you see these days are coming from bots.

Secondly, algorithms are designed to keep you scrolling as long as possible. Little hits of dopamine that make you want to keep going, and in between those hits they make sure to place ads. It doesn’t matter what you watch as long as you click on at least one ad thinking it’s not an ad and they make money from it.
