Do you think a lot of people would have an easier time accepting the process of aging if wrinkly skin and grey hair didn’t come with it?

Maybe women would. As a guy I really don't care much about wrinkly skin and Grey hair. I'm more concerned about remaining strong overall.

Like it or not the expectations on you will still be the same as you age. Either keep up or pray that the world is charitable towards you. It's not that the world doesn't care. But everyone's just dealing with their own problems. And the world is only getting faster and more complicated. So expect this to get worse as you age, not better.
