Isn't it annoying when advice-givers think they can't be questioned?

Often when I see people ask questions about a situation, and they disagree with the person giving their opinion, that person gets mad and thinks they can't be challenged and the asker has to accept their opinion. It's annoying

Advice is meant to be a perspective, not a command. Good advice should be open to discussion, not authority.

No one says you have to agree with any given opinion. But neither does the person offering their opinion need to change their point of view because you asked a question and didn't get the answer you wanted to validate your beliefs. It's a 2 way street. If you don't want to hear opposing views, don't ask questions on a public forum. Go ask friends who will tell you what you want to hear. Those are always the best friends.

So you are butthurt because the asker disagrees with your opinion? Then the person shouldn't be giving opinions in the first place if they don't want to be disagreed.

I'm not butthurt. I couldn't care less. But I'm not the person posting a question and whining about people who don't give me the answer I wanted to validate my preconceived notions. Thank you for proving my point. You really suck at logic and self reflection.

You have no obligation to like their advice. But they have no obligation to tell you what you want to hear. Take what you find useful. Disregard the rest.

Funny thing is, I think the majority of people are like that. Most people have strong opinions on things and get easily triggered when you have a different opinion. That includes myself.

I mean I kind of get where you're coming from but also certain askers are just particularly dense. So it can be annoying with those.
