Depends on the hours. Like if you are working a 40 hour week thats 9am-5pm. Then you factor in travel time thats maybe 2 hours there and back minimum possibly more so thats 50 hours per week. A lot of people are working 6 days per week 50+ hours.
My husband works from home now since covid. Instead of 8 hrs per day 5 days per week, he works 10 hours per day 5 days per week and no 3 hours per day of travel. He does all his work before 1pm and then loads it up at the end of the day. Half the time he's watching netflix, sports working out, cleaning etc. I cane home early one day and he was taking a hot bath with candles, a whiskey and smoking a cigar. Another time he was working on his car.
I agree,5 days a week is really too much time ro spend working. The 40 hour week has been the norm in America for 100 years. With al the increases in productivity it is about time that workers get some benefit of this gain.
It should be an option for employees, where an implementation would be possible.
