Would you invest in an IPO to colonize Jupiter’s moon Europa?

Giving me your hard earned money... we are launching a public company that will build ships to land a human on Jupiters moon, Europa. We will position rotating space stations and "life lilly pads" between here and there so that humans can "leap frog" between Jupiter and Earth and all rich humans can visit, eventually all humans once it's socialized and govt pays for it.

There we will discover... who knows what. We'll colonize, mine resources and discover the galaxy.

My board (of directors) is rewarding me 1 BILLION dollars if I as CEO can pull it off! That's a lot.

Would you invest in this endeavor, and buy our IPO?

If no, then are you investing in Space X IPO and why. All they are doing is the same, except their guy is being paid 1 TRILLION dollars and they are going to the measley moon and maybe mars. Whip de doo. We already been to the moon... lame!

This isn't going well. I guess if you ask people you get one answer, but if you force them to buy it... because it's "really cool", then you get their hard earned money... especially if they have no clue where the H there money is anyways. It's just a bunch of numbers on a piece of paper... invested in... who knows what.

Remember as a shareholder of my company, you have every right to visit our shed where store the rockets. After all, you own it...

You answered your own question at the end. You have to crawl before you can walk let alone run. Lilipad or no space in itself is an undertaking. Everything about it is hostile to humans. A trip to the Jovian system with our fastest rocket would take 1 year at the quickest and that's in the best conditions. It could take as much as 6 years. That's a long time in an emergency situation (think the movie "The Martian". And this is NOT a movie. You're not guaranteed a happy ending). Finally you didn't list the challenges you expect to meet or how you plan to overcome them. Granted i haven't looked at you Prospectus. But this is why companies have them. Elon Musk and SpaceX at least is a known quantity. Whether you agree with them or not.

Do i plan on investing in SPACE X? I've wanted to for YEARS. Until now it has not been an option. I've invested in Tesla already (i'm not currently invested) Yes i believe in both Musk and Space X. And as someone who sees humanities future in the cosmos, i'm all for other companies giving him competition here.

No. Current technology might be able to get us to Mars, but the trip will take weeks, if not months. Mars is way closer than Jupiter. Right now the tech doesn't exist to get us from earth to Jupiter simply because of the distance and the supplies needed to travel that far, never mind what you need to build structures to live in.

The rationale of going back to the moon is that little four day trip gets to a starting point where it's been possible to build a base with lower gravity to launch the trip to Mars. First build a base on the moon, then jump to Mars from there. A jump to Jupiter would have to start from Mars. Months, if not years.

No. I think on surface of Europa it doesn't take long to get deadly radiation dose from Jupiter. Humans would probably die before they could even reach orbit of Europa without some electro magnetic shield or 1m thick lead plate that stops high energetic gamma and beta radiation.

yea, there's some technical challenges to solve. Thick radiation suites and lots of genetic mutation.

we'll take your money and make ourselves rich building rockets. We'll send rich people whom die to that moon. they will be the first humans there... they just won't be alive.
We'll build data centers in space, put up satellites, etc.. just like Space X, but at 1/4 the price.

Rich people like to be first. And save rocket fuel. Once out of earth's gravity just need a flight path that ends up at the sun. The planets all seem to be in a flat plane so get above that plan it should be and easy coast in to the sun

Don't worry the Sun makes all the elements we have unless we have stainless steel plates or titantium or gold in our body. The Sun doesn't make any elements heavier than iron I believe. All the gold came from elsewhere.

basically... a couple of weeks ago, NASDAQ changed the rules on how these things work, and the USA government regulators allowed it (or didn't stop it, which would be their job to do so)

they changed the rules just so companies that ARE NOT WORTH to invest, can open up their worthless company to the investors

and, it's always been known that the top companies AUTOMATICALLY invest the 401k's by default... on these "top 500"

so, effectively... around June 1st... all of that money is going to Elon and other AI companies as well
