Absolutely, I always find it stupid when someone makes a bet with me and then doesn't honor it when they loose because I would have paid up. Instantly becomes an untrustworthy person in my book.
And i'm talking about small bets here, like me buying him a pack of cookies if he manages to quit smoking for 6 months and me having the right to throw all his cigarettes in the bin if he tries to smoke. Only to be told I better not throw them in the bin, he continues smoking and will eventually at some point maybe perhaps buy me a pack of cookies to buy out the thing we agreed on. Which of course I never got.
I bet that if PSG won the Champions League, I’d become a woman through gender reassignment surgery, and I lost

i do. but that's a question of your chosen identity. do you want to be a person where everyone can rely on your word cause when you promise and commit, it's gonna happen? or do you wanna be the person where everyone already knows your words are hot air and deeds aren't gonna follow. for me, it's the former.

If a commitment is part of a bet it had better be friggin' hilarious.
A promise is a promise.
No bet on Love
Depends on the context
