Is jealousy this common in everyday people, or is my experience unusual?

I would say over 80% of the ones who worked at the community centre were jealous of me, one person would always tell lies about my personality and intelligence to others, because he got low grades at Mohawk college while I got high 90s at the University of Toronto, and he thought he could undermine my quality of life by telling lies about my very good character and excellent personality to others in the hopes that it would cause all their co workers to collectively ban me from social events and disrespect me every time I walked into the room.

Another lady was threatened by my university degree because I was better at her job then she was, so to prevent me from making her look bad at her job by indirectly causing people to compare her to me, she would try to ban me from groups she ran by telling ridiculous and unbelievable lies about my personality to others.

For example, I went to a black church for almost 20 years and had dozens or hundreds of people from that black church on my contact list, and while my contact list is visible to all those that search my name online, she would lie and tell her co workers I was a racist person who hated those from other countries and did not deserve respect or inclusion by her group because of my racist views.

There are literally time stamped comments about me on google from around 10 years ago where I rated black churches and gave me them a perfect 5 star rating in google pages.

Okay so this is what I think.

People severely underestimate how jealous women can get of someone and usually gaslight the person who is the victim to think maybe they are the problem. Has this ever happened to you?

I think when someone is more educated than others - that person has to be nicer because the others feel threatened. Not saying it's correct but just the way it is.

Have you been nice to these people, not nice, or neutral? if you've been neutral too - that's okay but that woudl still trigger some jealousy.

With regards to how mean they're being - that's not acceptable.

I also think another thing people do is not think about the victim's feelings. There is this tendency to side with the jealous person because the victim is seen as somehow 'better.' Like oh the jealous person has all these issues they couldn't afford University tuition fees etc. etc.

But rarely do people think about how the victim feels like if that person is jealous that's their problem what did I ever do them etc.

I have had bad experiences with people’s jealousy before. It’s a normal human emotion, not something rare or unusual

It depends on where you're at. If you're around a bunch of losers they'll act like that. There's no way an average person is going to act that way.
