Mounting costs of living, unaffordable housing and healthcare, poor work-life balance, political divide that's bordering on the point of civil war. The US is not adequately providing the quality of life that you expect from a wealthy nation. I'm truly considering getting the hell out and never coming back. Everyone was saying that it's gonna get better when Trump gets back into office. Things are NOT better. They are worse than they ever been. I hate to say it, but we all got duped.

Politicians have been selling out the people for 40 years. GHW Bush's "new world order" was all about the elites resetting the world to benefit them and only them, on a global scale. The World Economic Forum is the center of it, but it's a huge creature. US presidents until Trump - Democrat and Republican alike - were all following that script of globalization and no borders. It has gutted western countries, but they trained everyone to believe that it was in our best interests.

Most people don't have any idea how badly and how extensively we were being sold out, because a lot of it either was never reported on, barely reported on and buried, or just wasn't very visible to most people. Things like the open borders with criminals from all over the world flooding in, cities full of Fentynol zombies, and the endemic fraud revealed by US AID and a few Internet reporters is just the tip of the iceberg. What most people can't grasp is the amount of spending power loss they suffer every time the government borrows more money in our name.

Trump has been trying to fight the Hydra, but he's fighting the globalists in our own government just as much as the issues themselves and China and to a lesser extent Russia have been trying to undermine it and take advantage. It looks chaotic from the outside, because it often is chaotic, but there is 60+ years of corruption and personal agendas all creating resistance, plus a largely hostile legacy media.

Trump isn't perfect, and he's often lacking in grace, but in the big picture, he's trying to break these systems that have corroded the inside of the USA and restore the past glory and prosperity, and he is the only person who has gotten the big job who wasn't completely owned by Washington DC before getting there.

Remember that it was Iran that was attacking ships in the Straits that started this war, and that Obama's "solution" was to pay Iran massive annual "tributes" to behave, with YOUR money. When has paying your enemy huge sums of cash for a promise not to attack (while you've just handed them a massive arms budget) ever been a good idea?

Of course, you need to realize that China would have been deeply involved in the start of conflict. They have been a big influence on Iran for decades, and Xi is smart enough to take every chance to disrupt Trump's agenda.

Unfortunately, allowing Iran nukes would lead to economic losses that make this war look like a rounding error, not to mention the loss of life. Some actions cannot wait.

If you want to help, support Trump's candidates in the mid terms. Iran feels that they can stall and hope Trump gets undermined by the election. Let's finish dealing with Iran once and for all, and restore freedom to the Iranian people, who largely don't support their government.

Define failing. For whom is it good, or bad right now? Trumplethinskin keeps swearing it's a golden age and to be fair it is if you're incredibly wealthy. The rules have been rewritten so that you can buy the laws that support your biggest wet dream with no repercussions. HUGE corporations pay 0 in taxes. Billionaires pay a lower tax rate than a public school teacher. Larry Ellison, Jeff Bezos and Rupert Murdoch own a huge share of American media and Mr. Ellison is the one chiefly responsible for getting rid of Colbert, cuckolding CBS news, and killing "60 Minutes". You have similar monopoly problems with pharmaceuticals and groceries etc. Too little competition in a capitalist society in which the wealthy can also buy the rules to circumvent any limiting regulations means it will be VERY hard indeed to force society to care about the average guy again. All that energy about a thriving middle class that was in the US a few decades ago left and went to China looking for cheap plentiful labor and when that labor becomes too expensive Then the Elon Musks and Jeff Bezos of the world will move on to the next. The Epstein class is a plague of locusts right now swallowing everything, and it's not only the US that is suffering.

I think it started long ago with men’s groups. Once they turned violent things started getting worse. It also changed after Covid and due to Trump. Everyone got mean and started wishing the worst to others. Those things are now coming true.

The British Empire ended after WW2 was over and they didn't have a seat at the table reshaping global borders. They were essentially bankrupt and their influence around the world was gone. The US is dangerously close to bankrupt, and you could argue that their influence is waning. Negotiating trade deals, nope. Nobody seems interested in trading with the US. Building a coalition to invade a terrorist country, nope. Nobody seems interested in assisting in any US conflict. Tourism to the US is way down as it is no longer a place people want to visit. The US doesn't have the same influence it had 10-15 years ago. The US won't go away but it will become just another first world country like the UK.

You sound like the DEMOCRATIC COMMUNIST PARTY OF AMERICA. Please leave this country and go to where you think you can get a better deal, and you can't come back like Rosie O'Donnell wants to. See how you fare there; the immigration problem is 1,000% worse than here, food prices are 2x to 3x more, and gas is 8 or9 dollars a gallon.

I agree but not 100%.

we are clearly not as strong, stable, or affordable as we used to be. The middle class is getting squeezed, politics are toxic, housing is ridiculous, and a lot of people no longer feel like hard work leads anywhere meaningful. That is a real decline, not just whining.

Europe however isn't doing any better.. Europe has plenty of its own problems: mass immigration tensions, rising crime concerns, weak growth, overregulation, cultural fragmentation, and governments that also fail their own citizens.

The issue is bigger than America. A lot of the modern West is losing the things that made it strong: social trust, national identity, family stability, competent leadership, and basic accountability.

America may be declining, but Europe is not exactly standing there as some shining alternative. The whole West needs a reality check.

Last week, I saw two political groups screaming at each other on a street corner, ready to start a civil war. So I ran between them, dropped my pants, and did the chicken dance while singing “Kumbaya” off-key. They both got so confused they forgot what they were fighting about. One guy handed me a hot dog. Another asked for my autograph. I signed it “The Real President Now.” Did that fix the cost of living? No. But nobody threw a punch. That’s what I call failing upwards.

So yeah, America is failing. But failing is just success’s dumb cousin. I once failed so hard at starting a lawn mower that it turned into a unicycle and I rode it into a lake. Learned to breathe underwater for three seconds. Point is, stay or leave, doesn’t matter. Just do something so stupid it resets everybody’s brain. That’s the hero way. The only thing keeping it going is the little people in our country that refuse to give up and become followers if evil

From our fake government from our health care to the food that we eat to our morals values and ethics as humans

The US has had many deadly challenges, much worse than today. The Revolution was uncertain of victory. Then the Civil War and all that led up to it and all that occurred after it. Then WWII, another direct threat to our existence as a nation and not all that long ago actually.

The US had major financial troubles in the Great Depression more in the 1970s, the 1990s, 2001, 2009 with the Great Recession. Now we have unnecessarily gone through major inflation due to Biden. But other than the upcoming crisis with the debt and the ongoing Identity Politics started by Obama to win his second term, this is normal in the US. Settle down and keep focused.

The healthcare situation makes it a bit of a third world shithole, tbh. And sure, all very nice if you're wealthy. But not everyone has the capacity to be earning way in excess of $100k per year. Plus your worker's rights. Don't you get about 5 days of annual leave per year? I get like 45.

If we're talking about living standards, people often say they're not as good as they used to be. But honestly, what country has seen its living standards consistently improve over the last 20- 30 years? There aren't many. I still think living standards in the U. S. are quite good, and there are still many people who want to live there.

Things will continue to get worse as long as Republicans are controlling the White House and Congress. This has been true since Reagan was elected. Republicans cut taxes on the wealthy and blow up the deficit, then the next Democratic President has to clean up the mess. But no one has been nearly as destructive as Trump.
