I agree that in its own time perhaps patriarchy was necessary for survival. It wasn't even hunting the mammoth so much. Some hunter gatherer societies had female dominance. Rather what made patriarchy was the need to clear the vast brush and drive a team of oxen to plough the soil. However, just like men don't need to do that stuff much anymore women don't need to stay at home. That doesn't mean everything feminists say is right. I certainly disagree with them about abortion, however women have the right to be independent. If civilization collapses perhaps we might need to reevaluate things, but I leave such questions for the future if that is what happens.

"Equality" is a luxury afforded women by the comforts afforded them by the modern world men have built for them. It's a self-correcting problem that resolves naturally as soon as the going gets tough, like it always was in the past.
