I have some opinions but what I don’t enjoy is hyper analyzing everything that happens or acting like one decision or one day is going to change everything bc it is possible but it probably will not. I don't follow this stuff on a day to day basis and don't get excited when someone wants to talk about it, but I will be polite and basically wait for that part of the conversation to end. Just don't start yelling and it is okay lol. It's not the only subject I don't enjoy, I also get bored when someone wants to go on and on about music like, this pop song will change your life or whatever. I pretty much listen to whatever is on, I like songs you can sing along with and dance to that is all. Sorry I guess that isn't really related to this topic but to me it sort of is as far as "conversation topics where I wish people would chill.” JMO!

I put no because I really am not interested in politics BUT politics is interested in me. I try to stay away but it keeps slapping me in the face.
Government should not be in our business and not try to rule our lives…. But that’s exactly what it does. I had no choice but to go against what I want to try to free myself from the chains the government keeps putting on us.
What we should have is:
Limited government
Actual freedom
Low or no taxes. (Why the hell am I paying the salaries of millions of deadwood public workers)

I could come up with a bunch more but brain is in work mode. Sorry!

I never used to be back when I was younger, but when I see all the negative things happening in society, it's kind of hard not to care. I was fine with whatever the government was doing when things were better in the past. But with all the LGBT, cancel culture, mass immigration, woke culture, criminal rights, etc being pushed, I feel the need to take a more active role in society. Now my feed on social media is full of political content.

Yes. Very. I didn’t want to be but it affects my life directly and more for the negative than the positive. I honestly don’t want to think about it but we have corrupt morons in power and they are forcing us to financial ruin along with societal strife. Such assholes.

No, not at all. It was never really a big thing in my family to discuss, so maybe that is why I never got into it. Another reason might be the state and area I live in is very one sided with politics.

Fuck no! When i was younger i thought you needed to follow to be informed otherwise you're like a lamb to the slaughter. The reality is, you're a lamb to the slaughter anyways. You really will only ever know what the powers that be think you should know. Most people who drone on about politics are largely just fools trying to compensate for a small weiner.
